The gameplay of Brotato unfolds on various square arenas that look much the same except for randomly placed trees. Once your hero spawns on the map, he’ll become a target of a vicious monster attack. First you’ll be attacked by separate units, but then the number of enemies moving in on you simultaneously will increase and increase until you’ll have to fend off whole waves of vile beings trying to get to you and tear you apart.

To avoid it, you have to shoot like a pro not giving the monsters any chance to approach you and also move around the battlegrounds choosing your route in a way that will allow you to get off the attack line, retain a safe and advantageous shooting position and also pick up the loot falling out of the dead enemies. Your main goal is to stay alive during a certain time after which the level will be considered as passed.
